Pie Birds or Pie Funnels
as they are called in England are varying sized "steam vents" that have been
placed in the center of fruit and meat pies (while cooking) since Victorian
Times.....surely you can remember your Grannie having one?..
Learn About the maker of these unusual items dating back to
Victorian times.Donnaware Pottery produces a variety of ceramic work including functional
and figurative highly detailed collectable pie funnels in all shapes and sizes. Not only
providing collectors with new designs to add to their display cases but Donnaware is also
open to trade enquiries. Minimum orders of 10 or more enable you to receive a reasonable
discount, though the same work is involved with the making of each pie funnel.
Pie funnels can either be made to order in quantity from the list of pie funnels already
in production or Bespoke designs (especially made for you) in small numbers. Some
are Limited Editions thereby making them more sought after and rare, hence adding
value to those wishing to invest for the future.
